Humans have never been to accept what they do not understand. It is a simple and well known fact. What they don’t know scares them, which is exactly why they can’t know so much. How would they react if they knew the supernatural world existed? The answer is littered throughout history, the greatest example being that of the Salem witch trials. But by no means was that the only one. Supernatural creatures have found themselves unfairly persecuted no matter the decade. It was why a safe place had to be created, somewhere for supernatural children and adults alike to actually survive in. Olympus Academy became this place.
Founded by Luca Baçila (a 400 year old vampire who had been running for as long as he could remember) Cassandra Honeychurch (a fallen angel with nowhere to go since her fall), Michael Hobbs (a possessed human who really belonged more to the supernaturals’ world than the humans'),Marjetka Salvatici (An ex-first class mage who, after being expelled from the order, found himself with no protection in the supernatural world and quite a few enemies.), Johannes Kristensen (a werewolf, was one of these enemies. After all, it had been Marjetka’s fault he’d ended up the way he did. And who wanted to live in a world where they could murder someone just because of the phase of the moon?), Emily Saxon (a psychic living in the middle of nowhere, the reason for which was never quite known - the answer, along with the answer of her powers have been lost over the centuries.) and Gaia Lindström (the earth nymph after all, you really should seek out permission from them before you even think about building on their territory.) Olympus Academy became a home for anyone who needed it.
